Create a proprietary photo booth experience for Red Bull that can be easily distributed and customized to any Red Bull branded event.
A iPad photo booth app that’s easy to set up and activate for any physical installation — along with an admin portal that allows for tailoring the UX + UI to seamlessly integrate with the brand aesthetic of any Red Bull event.
Designed the end-to-end photo booth UX in collaboration with the project lead; I was responsible for high fidelity UI design, prototyping, developer handoff, field testing + feedback.
Log in to the desktop admin portal to configure the app front-end. Match the individual brand look and feel of an event by switching up the photo background image, photo effects, and app UI elements such as fonts and button colors. Changes are saved out as templates that sync over to the photo booth iPad app.
On the day of an event, use the iPad app to activate a specific photo booth template. From the app’s pre-populated event list, all a Red Bull team member needs to do is to simply press START next to the event name, and the photo booth is ready to go.
Red Bull events are one-of-a-kind experiences, and in that spirit, so are the photos captured by the photo booth. Every image produced is a unique collectible worth saving (and giving everyone else FOMO over).
The photo booth debuted during the iconic Red Bull Sound Select music festival ’30 Days in LA,’ to great reception. Since then, the photo booth has made appearances at hundreds of other Red Bull events globally, engaging thousands of visitors and capturing tens more in photos that are widely shared across social media.
